In less than two weeks, the European School of Radiology (ESOR) will be hosting a foundation course aimed at radiology residents in their 4th and 5th years of training, as well as recently board-certified radiologists interested in the topic of Imaging Informatics. The upcoming course, which takes place on Wednesday, March 30 (12:30 CEST), is exclusively online and will include six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and practical examples, all of which will be followed by live Q&A sessions where participants will have the opportunity to discuss the topics in further detail with the faculty members.

Residents taking part in the ESOR Foundation Course will be diving into topics such as data protection, information systems, and radiomics with lecturers Dr. Federica Zanca, Dr. Daniel Pinto dos Santos, and Dr. Elmar Kotter, who will also act as the moderator of the course. Course participants can expect to learn more about the relevant technical standards in imaging informatics (DICOM, IHE, etc.), familiarising themselves with future developments in artificial intelligence and radiomics, and much more!
